Producer / vineyard: RECULET Vineyards A 17-hectare family owned and operated vineyard located 40 km north of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Created in 1979 by Jean Louis RECULET, the vineyard is now managed by his daughter Marion.
Soil: Clay-limestone and sand.
Vinification: Traditional Wines are aged in barrels for a year (French and American oak) and stainless steel vats.
Size: 15 hectares.
Average age of the vines: 27 years.
Alcohol content: 13,5%.
Tasting notes: Best served at 16-18 °C with meat in a creamy sauce or roasted poultry.
Cellaring advice: 8 à 10 years.
